Help with Crypto
It’s an overwhelming space to be in, isn’t it? Crypto is a concept many, including myself, found to be a world like no other and one that had me confused from day 1. There is a lot to take in and it’s important to take it one step at a time and never make any financial commitments until you’re completely comfortable that you know what you are doing. It may take you longer than planned to get to that point, but it’s only going to pay off in the long run. So just where DO you start?
Back to basics
Start with the basics. Before diving into the world of cryptocurrency, it is important to understand the basics. Read up on what cryptocurrencies are, how they work, and what their benefits are. You can find many online resources that explain the fundamentals of cryptocurrency as well as a post I’ve written called understanding crypto currency that you may find helpful.
Online forums
Join online communities. There are many online communities dedicated to cryptocurrency where you can ask questions and get help from experts. The usual social media platforms are a great place to look but be careful which you join as some are not as trustworthy as they seem. Reddit is a popular platform where you can join various cryptocurrency subreddits and engage with other enthusiasts.
Reputable sources
Follow reputable sources. Follow reputable sources such as crypto news outlets, industry experts, and influencers. This will help you stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in the world of cryptocurrency. Some popular sources include CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, and Bitcoin Magazine.
Find a mentor.
“If you want to try something new then find someone who’s already done it and copy them“. That’s the advice my uncle gave me many years ago when I was looking into ways and means to invest my money. Finding a mentor can be THE BEST thing you do. I struggled to understand how you buy crypto and once I sort of figured that part out I was then faced with the seemingly IMPOSSIBLE task of working out which coins to buy. It feel like there is some form of so called “expert” offering their not so knowledgeable insight which often turns out to be nothing more than a speculative guess. But I wouldn’t be where I am today without my mentor – James McMahon. I encourage you to Google him to find out why I chose him. In short he runs a members only website called Copy My Crypto. He does as the name suggests – he basically does all the hard work for you…………………studies the market…………researches what coin to buy and then tells you. How good is that? He’ll send you an email advising to buy coin xxx, leaving you to decide if you want to and if so how much you want to invest. He doesn’t touch a penny of your investment – it’s always completely in your hands. Check out his website where he’s offering a weeks trial where he’ll show you what coins he holds and offer you access to all his training video’s for less than £1. Follow this link to find out more.
If you have 30 mins to dedicate to your crypto education then I highly recommend watching this YouTube video by James McMahon where he shares the methods he uses to buy coins.
Understand what an exchange is.
Leant about cryptocurrency exchanges. Cryptocurrency exchanges are platforms that allow you to buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies. There are many exchanges available, but it is important to choose a reputable one that is regulated and has a good reputation. Some popular exchanges include Coinbase, Binance, and Kraken. Personally I love Coinbase as it’s easy to use and they are very good at offering help should you come unstruck.
Learn about crypto wallets.
Learn about wallets. Cryptocurrency wallets are digital tools that allow you to store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies. There are various types of wallets available, including hardware wallets, software wallets, and mobile wallets. It is important to choose a wallet that is secure and reputable. Some popular wallets include Ledger and Trezor. Read my crypto currency wallet review for an insight into this space.
Ok great……but what coins should I buy?
Aaaaaa there it is……………….the $64,000,000 question. There are lots of very smart people out there that have spent countless hours trying to “figure it all out” and some have been very success in doing so. But if you would like some guidance in terms of what Cryptocurrencies to invest in then read all about it here.
A word of warning
Be cautious. Cryptocurrency is a volatile market, and there are many scams and fraudulent activities in the industry. It is important to be cautious and do your due diligence before investing in any cryptocurrency. Avoid any investment schemes that promise high returns with little effort. I’ve written an insightful post that I recommend you read here.
Keep up man
Stay informed. Cryptocurrency is a rapidly evolving field, and it is important to stay informed about any regulatory changes, new projects, or major announcements. Follow industry experts and sign up to news letters to stay up-to-date. One of my favourites is Crypto & Coffee.
Getting started in cryptocurrency can be overwhelming, but by following these steps you can gain a solid foundation and feel more confident in navigating this exciting world, a world that is going to grow and grow. Remember to always do your due diligence and be cautious when investing in any cryptocurrency.
